Newell Brands, parent company of Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP), has signed a lease for a new property in Gaston County, North Carolina.
The agreement calls for Newel to occupy 1.5 million square feet of the facility. The company plans to use the property for warehousing and distribution of several of its brands, including RCP, Mr. Coffee, and Sunbeam, WCNC-TV reports.
“Newell Brands is looking forward to joining the Gaston County community, and we look forward to the opening of our new facility in spring 2023,” said Andrew Maze, Newel Brands vice president of distribution and transportation.
