There are many reasons to keep a clean business office. Additionally, a clean and tidy office inspires confidence in your clients, visitors, and prospective employees.

For best practice, place a wet floor sign outside of the area you will be cleaning.
- Empty all wastebaskets. Wipe down the inside and outside of all wastebaskets using the all purpose cleaner. Place new garbage bag in the receptacle.
- Dust around the room dusting ceiling, walls, ledges, fixtures, computer screens, keyboards, etc with dusting tool.
- Damp wipe all surfaces using a solution of all purpose cleaner prediluted with 4 oz per gallon in a spray bottle
- Polish all furniture and stainless steel if applicable using the stainless steel and furniture polish
- Clean any windows and glass surfaces using glass and window cleaner and blue microfiber cloth. Be sure to double check closely for spots and streaks.
- Clean all faucets, dispensers, and basins using all purpose cleaner and creme cleanser.
- Dust mop floor. Wet mop floor using floor cleaner
- Vacuum all carpets
Create a check list for daily cleaning at the end of each work day, and a separate one for weekly or bi-weekly deep cleaning. Taking a few minutes at the end each work day to do a quick tidy and spot clean will minimize the amount of time it takes to do a weekly deep clean so you can reap the full benefits of a clean and organized office space.
