Smart vacuuming

  • If a bag is missing from the dust collection compartment, the Sensor® S’s door will not close and the machine will not run if either the bag or the filter is not in place.
  • Equipped with indicator lights that light up if the vacuum bag is full, the brush height needs to be adjusted, or if there is a brush jam. If these precautionary lights are ignored, the machine will automatically shut down, protecting your employees and your machine from potential harm.

    It s light the suction power is absolutely amazing!!!!! Spend the extra couple hundred $ s and get a vacuum that actually picks up EVERYTHING and makes your home CLEANER! It almost feels like it s self propelled and makes the house cleaner! Going under tables it s lies almost flat. After having a Kenmore (which was highly rated by consumer reports) and a bissell for pets ($500 in vacuums in 5 years). The math was easy. The extra tools are also easy to use without a lot of work to affix the attachments. Did I mention BEST VACUUM EVER!UPDATE: Forgot to mention this vacuum will actually lay flat to go under the coffee table end table and various chairs. Makes vacuuming so much easier and not necessary to move furniture.

    I used one in a janitorial job and a motel job I had long ago and decided to get one for my housecleaning work. It outlived any vacuum I ve had. I bought another a few years ago and hasn’t t lost the quality. It adjusts to any carpet and floor thickness. The motor is quiet suction is great. The base does not have the mobility to make sharp turns like a Shark would but narrow enough to get through small areas. The only drawback is the weight. I used to haul it around to do my housecleaning jobs but recently got a smaller car and could not disassemble the handle. It weighs 20 lbs. and had to get a lighter weight one. The old one I had never had to be repaired.

    I m the chief of maintenance at a major hotel chain and I just wanted to say quick that these are designed to be repaired and very easy to maintain. After 7 years they re still going strong with minimal issues beyond normal wear and tear all 8 units still alive and kicking. Great performance as well

    Being a former Hotel Housekeeping Manager I knew that the Sensor was used throughout the industry and was dependable. True work horse. It is a durable vacuum with excellent power. The pros – accessories for an upright quiet cord length and power! Assembly is easy. It was delivered within 3 days of ordering. A few negatives – there isn t a light on front and the vacuum is heavy. Disappointment – why I didn’t t rate for 5 stars. Mine kicked out (motherboard fried) after 2 uses and I had to bring to an authorized Repair Rep after I called Windsor directly and ran through a few diagnostic tests. For the $$ this was disappointing. But I knew in the long run this is the vacuum I will have for years. If you want a good vacuum that will last you have to invest. And the Windsor is definitely a good investment.

    We have a commercial cleaning business and needed a new vacuum. This things works great and holds up well over time. It s not too heavy but still has a strong suction and the wheels work well. The cord length is also pretty good. It isn t too loud which is a plus. Overall a solid vacuum cleaner that I wouldn t hesitate to recommend.

    Just received two of these to use in the hotel I manage. So far my housekeepers are thrilled to have something that actually picks stuff up off the carpet and does not sound like an airplane taking off when it is turned on. After some extended use if staff is still happy we will purchase more. They are pricy but well worth the money if they continue to work well.

    We just purchased the XP-12 version of this vacuum which is just like the S-12 except this one has a deck that automatically adjusts for height. I had never heard of Windsor until we spent several days at a hotel and noticed what housekeeping was using to vacuum the carpet – a Windsor XP-12. We were impressed with how quiet (for a vacuum) the Windsor was and the housekeeper said she liked the vacuum.It s relatively light and the low deck means it will slide under most furniture. It comes with a very long cord that is stored on a plastic hook on the rear of the upright part. The automatic height adjustment works well and has no problem adjusting from bare floor to short nap carpet (we don t have long nap carpet.)The (actually another) amazing feature of this vacuum is how effective the beater/suction is – we have two short nap carpets with embedded cat and dog fur after vacuuming with the Windsor the carpets looked almost brand new. My wife was literally amazed at how well the Windsor performed. As another bonus the discharge air is filtered (replace every ten bags or so.)We found our last vacuum!

    This vacuum cleaner fully met all our expectations. The power head picks up the lint out of the rug better than any we have used in the past. My wife also commented on how easy it is to maneuver and the 12 head shortens the time to vacuum the house significantly. The chord is longer and allows her to vacuum four rooms without needing to stop and switch outlets. Very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

    This is not a gorgeous vacuum but my carpet cleaning man told me about it. My Dyson animal vacuum was leaking at the joints and the host had cracked and broken off. Repairing it was cost prohibitive. I decided to purchase the Windsor Sensor S12 which my carpet cleaning man uses in his business cleaning service. This vacuum really cleans really fluffs up a carpet and really picks up dog hair. The price is the same as an animal Dyson but the Windsor Sensor works better.

I was reluctant to spend so much but a friend who works in housekeeping in a major hotel chain said it is what they use and she loved it.Instead of spending $100. to $200. every couple of years for a new vacuum I decided to take my friends advice……….she was right!     This is an excellent machine. Our cleaning person works at a fancy hotel nearby and they use them so as our old hover failed I bit the bullet and got one. They are expensive but they are extremely well engineered. Easy to clear any clogs replace or clean filters and brushes vary quiet compared to our old unit and great suction. Never thought I would be impressed by a vacuum
